Thank you for your interest in applying for a UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship.
Before you continue, please ensure:
- You have read the current UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship Rules.
- You have the prepared your supporting documentation:
- Current visa documentation
- Resume/CV
- Your UQ offer letter or confirmation of your application to study at UQ
- Evidence of your prior study/qualifications (if applicable)
- Evidence of your and/or your family's financial circumstances, as applicable:
- Centrelink Income Statement;
- Employment payslips for the past two months;
- Australian Taxation Office Notice of Assessment for the 2023-2024 financial year;
- any other relevant evidence.
- Personal statement as a PDF or Word document which outlines:
- your personal circumstances;
- any recent experience in extra-curricular activities, community service and/or leadership activities; and
- your career goals, and how your chosen program will assist you to achieve these goals.
- References from your employer, community organisations, academics, or any other relevant group that wishes to support your application (optional).
- You understand that it is your (the applicant’s) responsibility to provide all required information and documentation to UQ to be considered for a UQ Refugee and Humanitarian Scholarship.
- You understand that applications close on Friday 13 June 2025.
Please note: This application form will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be finished in one session. The form will timeout after 25 minutes of inactivity and your progress will not be saved. Before starting the application, please prepare all necessary documentation required, including evidence of financial hardship.
