HASS Connect Mentoring Program - Mentor EOI

This form is for professionals interested in being an industry mentor for current HASS students as part of the HASS Connect Mentor Program.

Thank you for your interest to be a HASS Connect industry mentor! By completing this form, you will be added to our industry list and receive an email notifying you when applications next open.

The program currently runs twice throughout the year (semester 1: March to June & semester 2: August to October). Applications open from late-January to mid-February for semester 1 and late-June to mid-July for semester 2. 

What's involved?

Industry mentors help current HASS student/s navigate the transition from university to work. This is an opportunity to develop your communication and leadership skills and broaden your professional network while giving back to the UQ community.

The program includes:

  • regular mentoring sessions (at least four meetings in-person/phone/online e.g. Zoom)
  • networking events
  • feedback via an online survey
