The Neurodivergent Hub assists students who identify as neurodivergent (you do not need a diagnosis to join the program) to adapt to university life and find success at UQ.
Neurodivergent Check-in
- Week 2
- Details: Learn how to identify challenges earlier in the semester and develop strategies to progress through the semester.
Neurodivergent Mentoring Program (Closed)
- Week 1 - Week 6
- Time: 6 sessions, maximum 1 hour (details to be negotiated with your mentor)
- Details: Connect with a student mentor. Identify your goals, plan for a successful semester, and feel confident studying at UQ.
Neurodivergent Meet-up
- Week 1 - Week 6
- Details: Come along to learn new skills and meet other neurodivergent students to share your experiences and learn from each other. Topics covered include making friends at uni, disclosure for work and study, and navigating respectful relationships.
ADHD Group Coaching
- Week 1 - Week 13
- Details: Receive ADHD-specific coaching. Participate in discussions and explore effective methods to manage studies. Please note: you do not need a formal ADHD diagnosis to participate in Coaching. (Please note the same content will be covered on Wednesdays and Fridays)
Neurodivergence and Wellbeing
- Week 4 - Week 7
- Details: The Neurodivergence and Wellbeing pilot program assists students in building a toolbox of skills to enhance wellbeing.
