Thank you for your interest in applying for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme at The University of Queensland.

Before you continue, please ensure:

1. You understand that by applying for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship, you will be considered for any relevant scholarship(s) within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme in accordance with the information you provide in this application.
2. You have read the current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme rules.
3. You have supporting documentation that demonstrates your and/or your family's current financial circumstances. You will be required to upload this documentation as evidence of financial hardship.
4. You understand that The University of Queensland must have received your completed application form (including all required supporting documentation) by Friday 1 August 2025. 
5. You understand that you can still submit an application, even if you are awaiting additional information or supporting documentation. Once this documentation becomes available, it can be provided to the UQ Scholarships Office by emailing scholarships@uq.edu.au but must be received by the closing date for applications.
6. You understand that it is your (the applicant’s) responsibility to provide all required information and documentation to UQ to be considered for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship.

Please note: This application form will take approximately 45 minutes to complete and must be finished in one session. The form will timeout after 25 minutes of inactivity and your progress will not be saved. Before starting the application, please prepare all necessary documentation required, including evidence of financial hardship.
