UQ Neurodivergent Hub Program Registration - Semester 1, 2026

The Neurodivergent Hub assists students who identify as neurodivergent to adapt to university life and find success at UQ. Programs are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. You do not need a diagnosis to join any of the following programs:

ADHD Group Coaching

A 13-week program with weekly group coaching sessions tailored for students with ADHD. Participate in conversations about ADHD self-management in an understanding, supportive environment as part of student-led workshops.Upon a successful application, students will be asked to nominate one session, i.e. either Monday or Thursday and must coordinate this based on their semester timetable. 
Arts Therapy (St Lucia) Wednesday or Thursdays during Week 2, 5, Mid-Semester Break, 8, 10 and 13. 12:00 to 13:30 (Thursday 5 March) & 15:00 to 17:00 (Wednesdays)06-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus. St Lucia Campus based. An art-based therapy program that provides a low-sensory, supportive and non-judgemental space for neurodivergent students to reflect, process and talk through your emotions, inner world and experiences.Sessions in St Lucia are open to students from Dutton Park and Herston Campus. 
Arts Therapy (Gatton) Wednesdays during Week 3, 6, 7, 9, 11 and 12. Time to be confirmed in February. Gatton location will be confirmed in FebruaryGatton Campus based. An art-based therapy program that provides a low-sensory, supportive and non-judgemental space for neurodivergent students to reflect, process and talk through your emotions, inner world and experiences.
Mentoring Program (for Mentees)Meeting with your mentor is self-organised. This program has a dedicated space available twice a week for mentors and mentees to use on Tuesdays and Fridays between Weeks 1 to 6. 10:00 to 12:00 (Tuesday) | 14:00 to 16:00 (Friday) 06-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus. A peer mentoring program that is designed to support neurodivergent students in setting academic and personal goals, developing study plans and building confidence.
Meet Ups

Mondays during Week 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. Tuesday during Week 6.

10:00 to 12:00 (Monday) | 15:00 to 17:00 (Tuesday)06-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus. A seven -week program with weekly peer-led sessions focused on community building, knowledge sharing and slow craft making. An informal Meet Up during Market Day (Wednesday 18th February) is held for those who wish to connect with peers during O-week.
HDR Focus

Seven sessions held across February to June.

Timing varies, see Programs page for further details or contact us. 06-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus.This is a pilot program where HDR students can learn from past students, academic staff and receive peer-to-peer support in a way that is relevant to how postgraduate level research is conducted.
Neurodivergence and WellbeingTuesdays during Week 2, 5, Mid-Sem Break, 8, 10 and 13. 15:00 to 17:00 06-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus.A program focused on enhancing student wellbeing, habit building and finding your purpose as you navigate university life. This program is complimented by Arts Therapy (St Lucia) which takes place the day after (Wednesdays).
Check-InFour sessions spread across Semester 1, 2026 in Weeks 4, 8, 13 and SWOTVAC. Sessions are on Fridays. 12:30 to 14:0006-216 -Workshop B. St Lucia Campus.Check-In is not a program but an offering of casual sessions throughout the semester. These sessions are for those who wish to receive direct, tailored support and referrals for any current challenges relating to university life and study.Registration for Check-In will remain open throughout the semester.
