The Pitch Master Class for Feature Films is tailored to those
with a great idea for a full feature length film (including
documentaries) and want to learn the next steps in pitching the
idea to potential investors and key industry stakeholders. Your
tutor, Della Churchill, has producer credits for Undertow,
Cloudstreet, and has twice won MIFF 37South pitching
competitions for her current slate.

industry contacts, Della can tailor your pitching style to excite
investors with product they want, a story they’ll remember and
the creative information they expect. Don’t go pitching your ideas until you’ve done this Master Class. You could be saving yourself time, money and heart break from numerous rejections
without having received the tools to effectively pitch your project effectively.
This special Master Class is all about constructing your pitch to the needs of the market – the investor, whether they
be a distributer, broadcaster, or financier!
Students will be invited to pitch to Della and receive personalised feedback on their pitching style and additional development of their feature concept. After a fortnight, participants return to “repitch”
their improved work to Della. But this time armed with the correct pitching tools for success!
