The SIS Global Forum 2016 will take place from 6 to 8 April 2016, at Le Palais de Congres de Paris, under the theme 'Everything connected'. Over 1,200 attendees are anticipated from large and small independent oil companies, majors, and national oil companies who will collectively control up to 90% of the world oil production. Mr Paal Kibsgaard, CEO of Schlumberger, will open the event.
Schlumberger invites students to submit abstracts showcasing innovative application of Schlumberger software. The winning abstract (1) will be selected and the author will present at the SIS Global Forum in Paris. Travel, registration, and hotel expenses will be covered by Schlumberger.
To enter the competition, please submit your abstract at sisforum16/presentations . Abstracts should be in English, contain no images and no longer than 400 words. The deadline for abstract submission is 7 November 2015. The winning abstract will be announced 15 January 2016.
