An annual event, the expo is a one-stop-shop for students interested in participating in a global experience while at UQ. Almost 1000 students a year participate in a student exchange or short-term program.
Bogart, who recently graduated with a BLaws/B. Bus Man, participated in a student exchange to the University of Nottingham at Ningbo (China) to study courses towards his B. Bus Man and a short-term program at Bucerius University, Germany, to take courses towards his Law degree.
Before studying overseas, Bogart attended the Global Experiences Expo several times:
The Expo appeased my doubts and solidified my decision to study abroad. It enhanced my understanding of what exchange has to offer and the options available to me. Moreover, my discussions with returned exchange students and university partner staff allowed me to gain nuanced insights into the campus and country culture, student lifestyle and daily living aspects of different host university countries.
UQ’s Global Experiences Expo is being held on April 5 from 10am-2pm in the UQ Centre.
