Are you keen to showcase your talent? The UQ School of Psychology is holding a photography competition to gather high-quality images to feature on our new website!

Brief

Capturing the discipline of Psychology in an image is an ongoing challenge. We would love some high-quality photographs that represent psychology in an engaging way. It could be a specific sub-discipline (e.g., perception, clinical) or something broad and abstract – it’s up to you. We want entrants to be free to creatively explore options.

Due Date

  • If file size exceeds email attachment limits, you can also submit a dropbox or onedrive URL

Prizes

  • Winning photographs will be featured as ‘hero’ banners on various pages of the UQ School of Psychology’s website
  • For each photograph we feature, we will award a $100 gift card. Multiple prizes can be awarded to the same entrant
  • We are willing to award up to 10 winners, and will announce this in the first week of November 2017

Specifications

Images will be used as ‘hero’ banners on our website, which have the following specifications. We recommend wide-angle shots, with talent either left or right of centre (as text would need to be placed in the middle). Alternatively, close-up images would also work. Buildings, groups of people, close-ups of machines or stationery, and people in wider landscapes are examples of shots have worked well on other sites.
