Request for Applications – Novartis
The Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) has selected UQ and UniQuest to engage in advancing science through the NIBR Global Scholars Program. Novartis do not wish to place any undue pressure on researchers while they are faced with the challenges of COVID-19 and accordingly they have advised that this program will open the week of 1 July 2020. Selected proposals, not funded by traditional grant support, will receive up to USD$1million over three years (inclusive of UQ overheads). Additionally, a dedicated NIBR Alliance Manager will support the successful collaboration projects.
Applications are invited from researchers working in Novartis’ therapeutic areas below, and more detailed disease and platform technology descriptions are outlined in the Novartis Scientific Needs List which can be downloaded from https://uniquest.com.au/novartis/. Interested researchers should reach out to their UniQuest Representative or email novartis@uniquest.com.au to request the 2-page non-confidential application form. Applications close on 24th July 2020.
